OKA All Terrain Vehicles is an Australian company that designs and builds rugged off-road trucks and expedition vehicles known for their robust construction and impressive off-road capabilities. These versatile vehicles are used across various sectors including tourism, emergency services and mining.

Company Overview

OKA is an iconic Australian manufacturer specialising in all-terrain vehicles engineered for the most demanding environments. Founded in 1985 to address the unique needs of the mining sector, the company quickly established a reputation for reliability, durability and adaptability, qualities that remain central to its brand identity today. OKA vehicles are renowned for their robust payload capabilities, modular cab configurations and advanced engineering features such as Cummins engines, rigid ladder chassis and dynamic suspension systems. Over its 40-year legacy, OKA vehicles have been widely deployed across mining, industrial, commercial, defence and emergency services sectors, with notable adoption and testing by the Australian Army, Royal Australian Air Force and international organisations. The company’s commitment to rugged performance, longevity and real-world capability has fostered a fiercely loyal community and enduring brand value.

After a period of ownership changes and production pauses, OKA was revitalised under new leadership, with Dean Robinson acquiring the intellectual property in 2017 and spearheading the development of the Gen-5 OKA NT series. Today, OKA Holdings Pty Ltd. is scaling its operations with a focus on efficient production, global expansion through licensing, and innovation in fleet offerings for mining, utility and defence sectors. The company’s scalable business model leverages proprietary engineering, supply chain partnerships and recurring revenue streams from leasing and licensing. With exclusive type approval under Australia’s Road Vehicle Standards Act (RVSA), OKA stands as the only Australian vehicle in its class with this rare validation, positioning it for both domestic growth and international ambition. The company’s leadership team brings deep expertise in engineering, operations and defence, ensuring OKA remains at the forefront of all-terrain vehicle innovation for decades to come.
