We are a copper producer at our Tartana mine site and we also have an extensive portfolio of tenements focused on the exploration and development of copper, zinc, gold, silver and critical metals resources in the prospective Chillagoe region, Far North Queensland.

Incorporated in 2004 and listed on the ASX in December of the same year, Tartana Minerals Limited, formerly known as R3D Resources Limited, has revitalised its mission to become a significant player in the copper and gold sectors. The company's flagship asset, the Tartana Copper and Zinc Project, comprises four mining leases located approximately 150 km west of Cairns and 40 km northwest of Chillagoe. This project positions Tartana Minerals to capitalise on the region's rich mineral endowment.

Tartana Minerals' project portfolio also includes the Zeehan Zinc Slag Project in Western Tasmania, the Mt Hess Copper-Gold Project, and the Amber Creek Molybdenum-Tin-Tungsten Project, both situated in Queensland. These diversified assets underscore the company's commitment to expanding its resource base and advancing towards production.

Steve’s professional experience spans more than 30 years covering periods in both the mining industry and financial sector. With a geology background, Steve has worked in exploration, feasibility and evaluation studies and mining in a range of commodities and in different parts of the world. In the financial sector, Steve has been involved in research, corporate transactions and IPOs spanning a period of more than 20 years, including senior roles at JPMorgan, Bankers Trust and Macquarie Equities.

Steve is also a director of Southwest Pacific Bauxite (HK) Ltd, a company developing a bauxite project in the Solomon Islands and Chairman of Breakaway Research Pty Ltd.

Dr Alistair Lewis is a successful entrepreneur and highly experienced Doctor with over 40 years’ experience specialising in Medicine. For the past 10 years Alistair has been involved in management of mining and exploration companies.

In 2017 Alistair established Oosen Lewis mining Pty Ltd in North Queensland. Alistair financed the aggregation of a substantial portfolio of gold, tin, tungsten and antimony assets and instigated subsequent extensive exploration programs. These assets now form part of the QSM portfolio.

Alistair possesses strong interpersonal communication skills owing to his extensive experience working in healthcare as well as more recent interaction with investors and brings with him an extensive network of investors.

Mr. Thirnbeck is an experienced geologist with over 25 years in managing numerous mineral development projects in Papua New Guinea, Indonesia and Australia. He has been a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy since 1989 and holds B.Sc (Hons.) degree from University of Queensland.

Ms Wang is an accomplished emerging leader with a strong academic and professional background. She holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Philosophy from The University of Melbourne with several academic papers published; and is currently pursuing a Juris Doctor degree at the prestigious Melbourne Law School (The University of Melbourne).

In addition to her academic endeavours, Ms Wang has gained valuable practical legal experience working at a renowned Chinese law firm, focusing on IPO and commercial and contracts disputes; moreover she had a significant past exposure to the operation of listed companies through her father’s work. Ms Wang is also a competitive athlete (women’s sabre) in fencing.

Mathew Hancock

Mr Hancock is a minerals processing professional with many years of experience. He has been involved in mineral processing technology development including a key role in Newmont’s Tanami Gold Operations parallel milling projectand has experience in Tomra ore sorting. He has also been involved in the design and construction of skid-based hardrock and alluvial processing plants. Mr Hancock is also the Managing Director of Viking Hoard Pty Ltd, a privately owned small-scale hard rock mining operation in Far North Queensland.

Mr Hancock has been instrumental in the refurbishment and recommissioning of Company’s heap leach –solvent extraction -crystallisation plant at the Tartana mine site near Chillagoe to producecopper sulphate pentahydrate. He has also co-ordinated the recent refurbishment review of the Mungana processing plant for the processing of Tartana primary copper resources.
