4DS Memory Limited (ASX: 4DS), boasting research and development facilities in Silicon Valley, California, is at the forefront of pioneering Interface Switching ReRAM for high-density and high-volume Storage Class Memory. Since its inception in 2007, 4DS has secured 34 US-granted patents for its proprietary intellectual property.
In a strategic move, 4DS initiated a joint development agreement (JDA) with HGST, a Western Digital subsidiary, in July 2014. This collaboration aimed to optimize the innovative Interface Switching ReRAM technology for Storage Class Memory. Additionally, in November 2017, 4DS entered into a collaboration agreement with imec in Belgium. This collaboration focuses on developing a production-compatible process for the tools used by memory makers to fabricate high-density and high-volume memories. The partnership also involves leveraging imec's proven memory platform to construct a 4DS megabit memory. Notably, this collaboration has been extended until the end of 2024.
