Turaco Gold Limited has concentrated its efforts on the prolific Birimian greenstone belts of Côte d'Ivoire. The company's portfolio includes the Afema Gold Project, acquired in March 2024, and the Eburnea Gold Project in central Côte d'Ivoire. The Afema Project, covering over 1,600 square kilometers, is situated on a granted mining permit supported by a Mining Convention with the State of Côte d'Ivoire. In August 2024, Turaco announced a maiden JORC resource estimate of 2.52 million ounces of gold for the Afema Project, underscoring its potential as one of West Africa's most significant undeveloped gold assets.
The Eburnea Gold Project comprises two granted exploration permits covering 690 square kilometres on the Oume-Fetekro greenstone belt, approximately 35 kilometres south of Endeavour Mining's 2.5 million-ounce Fetekro project. Turaco's strategic landholding in this underexplored region offers substantial upside potential for new gold discoveries.
