Company Overview
Iltani Resources Limited (ASX: ILT) is an Australian exploration and development company focused on precious metals, base metals and critical minerals. Its flagship Orient Silver-Indium Project forms part of the wholly owned Herberton Project in North Queensland, approximately 75km southwest of Cairns. Orient hosts Australia’s largest known silver-indium deposit, with a 62.5Mt Mineral Resource grading 82g/t silver equivalent and containing 46Moz silver, 725 tonnes indium, 341kt lead and 421kt zinc.
The Company is advancing resource-extension drilling, metallurgical test work and ore-sorting studies to support a Scoping Study targeted for early 2027. Iltani’s development concept contemplates large-scale open-pit mining, ore sorting and flotation to produce separate silver-lead-antimony and zinc-indium concentrates. The Company is also testing regional targets capable of providing potential satellite feed. Backed by an A$8 million QIC Queensland Critical Minerals Fund investment, Iltani is positioned to advance a differentiated critical-minerals project with exposure to silver, zinc and indium.
Orient West
Orient West is the largest component of Iltani’s Orient Silver-Indium Project, hosting a 42.7Mt Mineral Resource grading 74g/t silver equivalent. The deposit comprises at least five continuous, sub-parallel massive sulphide veins, up to 3m thick, within a broader mineralised envelope of up to 20m. Mineralisation has been defined over at least 2km of strike and remains open down dip, offering meaningful scope for further growth. Drilling has focused on a 900m high-grade core, with infill drilling supporting Scoping Study work, while step-out drilling tests a further 900m northeast extension. Deeper high-grade sulphide intersections also present potential for future underground mining opportunities.
Orient East
Orient East is a significant component of Iltani’s flagship Orient Silver-Indium Project, hosting a 19.8Mt Mineral Resource grading 98g/t silver equivalent. The deposit includes a substantial Core Zone extending approximately 550m by 400m, demonstrating strong scale and continuity of mineralisation. It comprises multiple high-grade massive sulphide veins within a broader mineralised envelope, evolving westward into a coherent, gently south-dipping tabular zone up to 30m thick. Infill drilling has tightened spacing to approximately 40m across the Core Zone, providing a strong foundation for an upcoming Mineral Resource upgrade and Scoping Study. Mineralisation remains open to the west, offering further potential for resource growth.
QIC Investment and Strategic Support
-
$8.0 million funding secured to date (pre-Offer) from the QIC Queensland Critical Minerals Fund (QCMF) to support and accelerate development of the Orient Silver-Indium Project
-
Original funding structure comprised $6.0 million in upfront, non-dilutive cash tied to future royalties and a $2.0 million equity investment, aligning both capital support and strategic partnership interests
-
The investment underlines Queensland Government support for critical minerals supply chain projects and facilitates accelerated exploration and development activities at Orient to move the project towards production
-
QIC Queensland Critical Minerals Fund (QCMF) (“QIC”), the Company’s largest shareholder, has committed to participate for a minimum of $1.5 million in the Offer.
